A shop called Generate Design has a lamp from Patrick Townsend – the Light String. It’s very simply a string of different sizes of lamp sockets wired together and hanging from a central point. In my head, a conversation about this fixture would go like this:
Me: Man, I could make that lamp for like, twenty bucks and a trip to Lowes.”
Me: Yeah, but you didn’t, did you. Aw yeah.
Interesting form – about 30 of these on a wall would be one very interesting display. It’s $85 bucks.
