Timer To Light – Jasper Hou’s Mechanical Candle

This device by Jasper Hou is a mix of energy conversion – when you wind up the timer on the bottom of the light, the mechanism inside converts its mechanical energy into electrical energy for the enclosed LED, which then gives off light.  Set the timer for however long you want the LED device to glow, and it does its thing.

There are two questions to which I cannot find answers about this device:

1. How much light could it output?  It’s small (looks like about the size of a hair product tube), and with the mechanism listed I cannot imagine that it would put off very many lumens at all.
2. Jasper Hou, why do you not have a website?
